I bought a 2012 Dodge Journey a little over a year ago. When using the AUX input, it will skip/cut out very frequently. Sometimes it won't do it at all, but it's rare for me to go for a drive and not have it skip. It can happen once every minute or so, or happen every few seconds to the point I turn it off. The radio/sat never does this and has always worked fine; it's only happens with the AUX. I have tried a few cables with no change. Anyone have an idea on what is causing this?

 

Probably the port is bad. Try replacing it.
