Default 98 durango stereo installation

Newbie here, apologize if this has been hashed out before. I am trying to install an aftermarket stereo unit in my 98 Durango SLT, and I have the unit powered on but there is no audio. There is one wire still that I have not connected with anything, it is Solid Green with Red Stripping, I cannot find what this wire is for the life of me. My Chilton book doesnt id it, but Im sure it is the reason there is no sound. I did some research and came across some wiring diagrams posted here and other places but those do not id this wire either. Anyone have any ideas on how to get my stereo sounding off?

Are you hacking wiring or did you use the correct wiring adapters?

Hacking... didn't really think about getting the adapters until after I had snipped the wires already.

I think I have seen 3 different audio wiring diagrams for my vehicle. The one I trust most is the Chilton, but it isn't model year specific, only a generic outlay
