2012 RAM 1500 Radio Static Issues
Newbie here....
Just joined wondering if anyone can offer some advise. Recently ordered a NAV system as a replacement unit for my factory radio. Upon arrival,
i found out would be more of a pain in the *** to install than I anticipated because it didn't quite fit my 2012 RAM 1500. Regardless, I'll do some
more checking and get a different unit. In the meantime, I thought I'd continue using my radio, but, keep having a STATIC PROBLEM.
While holding the radio out of the dash I connect the antenna and the power connector the radio sounds great...all works great, however, when
I put the unit back into the dash, I get crazy static. Not sure what it is, there doesn't seem to be a ground wire anywhere.
Any help appreciated.
