I posted this in the Chrysler forum, but due to their weird policies about new accounts it may not ever show up. We purchased a 2012 Chrysler town and country a fews days back. Will the Ves system work with an aftermarket head unit?
It has the 430 radio/head unit and one screen in back, second row. We would like to change the 430 to an android head unit with navigation and install the DVD player available by Chrysler that goes into the empty cubby below to work the second row screen. Will that work?
We own a home audio/video company, hubby is an a/v tech and and used to install car stereo back in the 90s, so hes pretty audio savvy, but knows nothing about the Ves systems. Our Dodge van is an SXT and did not come with the Ves. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
