Help please
I posted this in the Chrysler forum, but do to their weird new member rules, my post aren't showing up yet, can someone here help?
Hello, I am looking for some info on the a/v systems that come in the town and country.
We just purchased a 2012. It has the 430 head unit, Ves system with one dvd screen in the back, 2nd row. We would like to replace the 430 with an android unit with nav and install the second stand alone DVD player available from Chrysler that goes in the empty cubby space below to operate the screen in the back. Is this possible? Would the second DVD and screen work with an aftermarket head unit? Also, would the second DVD operate the 2nd row screen? Being 8 yr old technology, the screen is pretty crappy quality honestly, but the kids enjoy using it rather than their tablets sometimes and it seems a waste not to use it.
We own a home audio/ video company, hubby is an a/v and used to install car stereo back in the 90s, so hes pretty savvy, but not familiar with the modern Chrysler systems. Our 2013 Grand caravan is an SXT and does not have dvd. Any help would be greatly appreciated
