When you connect an android phone it takes over the entire screen and covers the menu bar at the bottom of the screen that you'd use to get to your radio and climate controls. In contrast, when you connect an iPhone, CarPlay appears in the bottom menu alongside the car's menu items and it doesn't cover the entire screen when selected. Why is that? It's really frustrating to have to tap the little dot to get to the android menu and then tap on EXIT in order to get out of android auto and access the car's features. Not to mention it makes you take your eyes off the road for that much longer. Is there a way to change that? If not, who do we ask about getting that change in an update (I know, long shot...)
