System
I am looking to spend about $500-$600 on a new system because I am not getting the sound out of the one I have now. What would be the best thing to get? I am looking at a 15" audiobahn with a 1500 watt Mark Anthony amp(if anyone has heard of this amp is it any count?) Is this a good system to buy?
Well, you'll get all kinds of opinions from alot of people, but I would actually hit places like Best Buy or Circuit City right now because of the year end clearances and deals....
I'd probably look at two 10" Rockford Fosgate speakers and the BEST amplifier you can afford. Namely a RF Punch...they out hit just about any other name brand amp.
Now, the biggest concern you have, is not the maximum wattage of the amp, as you can buy all kinds of 1200-2500watt amps. What you need to concern yourself with is the RMS of the amp per channel.
Most amps will only push 200 watts per channel on an amp, basically 200 watts to one speaker continuously. The thing is, the higher the RMS, the harder and better the amp will push the subs.
Good luck man!
P.S. Do not buy anything Sony as its mostly a starter kit.....if you actually dont have a Sony headunit, then their stuff aint to bad, you just need one amp per speaker lol
