Default 05 QC Ram- new install within the next week -need advice

Things already purchased

ddx7017 (kenwood in-dash double din dvd player)
ipod nano (black)
kenwood ipod controller
mtx thunderform box and 2 10" mtx subs 200watts rms each powered by mtx amp

I currently have the 7 speaker infinitiy package with the 6 disc changer - my question is : as you know the infiniti system sucks - what is the cheapest solutions for correcting the speakers and factory amp

Here is what I am thinking - spend another 100 bones and get new front door speakers and call it quits - if you agree which ones do you recommend

Since I have to bypass the factory amp, will the new head unit have enough juice to power the existing 7 speakers?? - should i get a new amp to replace the factory - whats a cheap good solution for this, if you think i should do this

I think i am going to just leave it and see how the new headunit and subs sound - and then make my decsion about the front door speakers - is this stupid?? we already know the front door speakers suck -

im in a bind, cuz i really want to to have everything installed at the same time -

what do you guys recommend - hope i didnt repeat myselft to much

TIA,

Boyd98

____________

btw, if any of you have a ddx7017 or similar 4 inch double din installed in your RAM, let me know how you fabricated it, i was gonna get a motorized one, but the place where i bought it, said they could install it with little frabication - they have done so on a couple other rams - what do you think

My opinion is to buy some quality speakers and some amp that matches the speakers you chose. Get any companies amps except the ones that the name doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere or claims huge watts compared to quality ones. Usually this is the same thing.
If you go the head unit route still choose the speakers based on being run by an amp. This way you can add it later.
With 2-10"ers you'll want more power in the other freqs too.
