Default Factory amp 04' ram?

I have a 04' ram quad cab with the cheapy system in it. I am trying to hook up my subs and amp, as well as plan for future door speaker upgrades. I have not installed a new stereo yet, am still looking for a descent (low price w/ remote amp out and rca out, w/ descent sub control).

Is the so-called-amp only in the infinity system? i tore my dash all to heck and couldn't see anything, unless it's behind the airbag. I thought it would make things easier if i could tap off the remote/common for my sub amp (for now) instead of trying to cut/splice and stuff. I know i don't need to do any of that with a new deck...

So when i install a new deck, i will have my subs hooked up & working no problem. But when i install my door speakers w/ amp, can i bypass the amp, if there is one? or can i route the existing speaker wire (toss an rca adapter on em') and plug them into my new door speaker amp...?

BTW my sub info:
2 kicker vr comps 12"
eclipse 2/1 amp
any suggestions on a descent deck?

Hutch

There isn't an amp on the cheapy system, only the infinity system
