Yeah Fiberglass.. DIY
get some specs from the Prefabs & grab a Board of MDF & some Fiberglass
I will try to find some Webpages to help if you think you may be down for it..
Its fun to learn & a hell of alot cheaper than paying a shop of getting some prefab POS.

This should help out with the fiberglassing part, http://chris.pfharlock.com/glass/index.htm Asfor the MTX "peices of plastic" nearly all subs are made of a similar material its not really a plastic but its similar to plastic.
