JL W7
Would it be possible to fit a 10" w7 10 into a 2000 dodge ram quad cab while keeping the backseat and not cutting the firewall. I don't think that its possible but have to get all the possible ideas before I let my baby go......going to miss her. Any and all ideas are welcome also I'm no newbie to fiberglass work so let the ideas fly.
Why dont you jst put it under the rear seat?
After looking I forgot you will need about 9 inches jst for mounting depth.. I dont know if you have that much room to work with. If you dont you can get spacers for the seat and raise it up if needed.

i dunno what speaker that is, not even real sure of the body style of the 2000, but i do know that i have 2 Kicker tens in my 06 quad cab, i just used a MTX Thunderform. the box fits perfectly under the seats. I will say, that the kicker 10s i used didnt fit the box that well, but there are other subs that fit it, and there are a few other eclosures that hold the deaper subs. im not sure of those companies though, The thunderform practially disappears too. I really like the way the box goes in the truck.
the 2000 is similar to the 99, so yeah you should easily be able to fit a 10" under the rear seat, no cutting into the firewall nessesary, etc..
go to an audio dealership and ask them for a dodge custom box.. it'll fit under the rear seats perfectly just like your 06, wiring the amp behind the seat, onto the cab is one idea, or placing it under either the drivers or passengers seat.
