Ok... so i'm swapping a Jensen CD 310X from my moms Subaru into my sisters Neon and i'm running into a few questions. i found the wiring adapter that that is needed. and the plate adapter (i think)

which one do i need?

and with the wiring adapter how do they work? cause from the picture it looks like its just for another Chrysler Radio not the Jensen.

Whatever kit they have at wal-mart that says chrysler on it should work. On the back there is a list of all the applications it will work with. The wiring adaptor plugs into the factory wiring harness, then you splice the wires from your jensen radio into the wires on the adaptor.

Do not cut any wires on the car!!!

You take your install kit, and splice that to the wires on the new radio. Then just plug and play.

You will need to get the wiring harness that goes into the back of the jensen cd player unhooked from the subaru. Then splice the wires from the wiring adaptor you buy to the wires on the jensen cd player.

ok well got the wiring adapter and the face plate. and now i have a question with the wires. in the instuctions (or aka what each wire is) it said that the blue wire is for the antenea. so how do i connect that wire to the antenea since the antenea wire is more like a coax cable? wow audio is confusing lol

That blue antanae wire is only if you have a power antanae that raises and retracts with the ignition switchy.
Just fold it over and tape the end.

That is if you have a power antenea...You do not use that wire. Jst plug the antenea wire into the back of the radio.

ok 2 question... with the wiring adapter do i connect the Jensen wiring harness to the wires that are just hanging on the adapter? cause at end of the adapter is the Chrysler ones that plug into the Neons harness and then on the other in where the 2 plugs connect to is a really big gray box thats 2 big for the Jensen.

Also do i need to buy a new sleeve? cause the one that was in the Subaru was the factory one.
