im currently driving a 99 dodge ram and the CD player isnt working. ive tried compressed air and lens cleaner. the lens cleaner CD would work after 2-3 tries, and would play the classical music at the end. all other CDs i put in are instantly shoved out reading "err" on the clock screen. is this a wiring or lens problem, or is it something i need to take into a technician? is this normal for dodges this old?

Sounds like something is done for inside. I would jst buy a new aftermarket or stock radio, rather than take it to get looked at.
