I have a 02 dodge dakota slt 3.9 L v6 and it is a 4dr and I am looking into getting a good system. I have about 1600$ . I am wondering what to do for a sub . I am thinking of just puting one of the back seats up or taking it out and just putting it there or wondering if you can get them for under the seats. there is not alot of room under my seats so i doubt that. Anyone that could help me with what to get since i am new to all this I would really appreciate it thanks

 

Ok, If you really want a banging system, and with that money... if you have a Tweeters store close to your home, go there. Talk to them. See what they can do for you for some JL Audio's. I am not a big fan of them because everybody else is, but they are very good subs that hit super hard. Yes, I do have 2 JL w6's. those are the second best ones they have. i Dont know exactly how much space you have behind your seats, but with that money, I would get a w6 or maybe even a w7 powered by a JL Audio 1000/1. BUT, TO GET THE BEST PRICE, ASK THE SALES DUDE IF HE WORKS ON COMMISSION. TELL HIM, IF HE HOOKS YOU UP, YOU WILL GIVE HIM MONEY ON THE SIDE SO HE MAKES MORE MONEY AND HOOKS IT UP AND YOU BOTH ARE HAPPY. thats what i would try to do with 1600$. Another cheaper option would be 2 JL Audio w3's powered by a 500/1. but, if you really want crazy loud bass, get the w6 or w7. also, ask habeba what he would get with that money. see his response to my post and see whats good. good luck.

 

1600 for the entire system? Do you listen to mostly rap.....rock.......metal....or everything. Do you want to do this yourself or have a shop install it?
