I have a GPS that I can hardwire. Can I tap into the hot and ground to my fatory stereo? Would you suggset this or not? If I can which wire colors are the hto an ground? This is in a dodge ram infinity system

You can use the radio wires......I wouldnt jst bcuz I wouldnt want to hack up my harnesses, but thats jst personal preference.
Yellow-Constant
Red-Switching
Black-Ground
Make sure to fuse the gps.

 

Grab the power and ground for the cig lighter or power plug. If you want constant power, tap off something at the fuse block that is constanly live.
