my friend has 2 12" Kicker L7. the rms is 750 and peak is just under 2000. the jl 500/1 is weak for the subs. i was wondering which amp would be good for it. i think that its a 4 ohm sub. and dotn forget, the kicker L7 can handle a little extra power than the 750 like many other woofers. by the way, he had the jl 500/1 hooked up but his amp f'd up. he bought it off of ebay... anyways. which amp would be good for it? oh, he is in a car club and entering his car into a car show next month so he needs to get the best possible amp he can get for the subs. thanks you guys!

 

do you have a price range but i would say go with the eD ninE.1 it is a very good amp for around $250-$300 but look into viper amps or hifonics or dimond audio or soundstream all decent amps.if you got alot of money go with zapco

 

To get over 1500 rms at 2 ohm is going to cost alot.....with that said

As you said you could prolly run a bit more power to those...if you want more I can reccomend more.

 

well, price isnt really too much of an issue because all he needs is to find out what amp then he talks to his friend who will hook him up for cheaper. but what i am thinking is that bestbuy or tweeters dont have any amps strong enough for them. but thank you for looking it up habeba. and avenger, if there are any you have in mind, i'd ppreciate it if you'd post them. thanks.

 

If I had to pick one from my list, I would pick the memphis. Very nice amp and it probably puts a out a little more than 1500.
