i've tried to hook the deck up running a power wire to the battery and got the same result. I'll try with a test light. This is really pissing me off[:@] It shouldn't be this much of a problem. i got the deck from my dad and it worked when he sent it to me. All the deck will do is take a cd in and eject it out nothing more.

 

well it sounds to me like it has major issues,trash it an get a new one

 

How do you have the wires spliced to the cd player....? It looks like you dont have the ground harness connected either.


If the deck is taking in a cd and ejecting it it is getting power.......you dont happen to live in Iillinois do you??

 

LOL! no i don't I live in Manitoba,Cananda. I don't know if you happened to notice but on the grey harness there is a gree,blue,and brown wire. What do they do? I had the ground harness connected before just not in that picture.

 

So i talked to sony and they said it's probley an issue with the deck wich sucks because the friggin' deck worked a week ago. Anyway thanx for all the help and patience.
