Default New cd deck install question

Im installing a new pioneer player into my 02 quad cab. Was wondering before I got started, what is the best way to remove the dash? Also, it seems that you guys recomend running new speaker wires and not worry about using a harness to hook to the existing wires, correct? Any advice on this installation would be appreciated. I'v done several stereo instals before but never on a newer truck. I will run wires for an amp to power 2 jbl 10's at a later time. I've upgraded to 5 1/4 rockford fosgates in the rear, pioneer 6x9's in the front and tweeters to be mounted somewhere.

Default RE: New cd deck install question

I would still use a wiring harness to plug into the factory one, I jst wouldnt hook the speaker wire up to it. The dash jst pops off with a little force. If you already have the radio out you might as well run the rca's and remote turn on lead instead of doing it later.
