04 qd cab ram amp help
IM going to install the amp myself and Im using a converter so I can use my amp with my stock HU.
where did you all tie into your rear speaker wires? I was going to tie into the rear speakers by the door but I cant get to them. I might have to pull the molding between the two doors?
also, how did you guys run your wires to keep them hidden.
My amp and dual 12" box are under the rear seat.
thanks
Bill

Well.....if the 3rd gen is anything like the 2nd gen, then there is a nice big rubber groument in a very easy place to get to. Its on the firewall straight back from the battery....well maybe slighty to the left
I jst cut a slit in it and force the wire thro. Then I jst run the wire under the carpet down the sides of the cab and then cut a slit in the carpet where you want the wire to come up at. If that groument isnt on them, I imagine it should still be pretty easy to find a place to run the wire as there is alot more room in these compared to most others. As far as qcab 3rd gens go, I have never ran a loc in it, so I guess im no help there.

In your case yes a coat hanger or maybe something a bit stronger. I would also tell you to run the wire from the back where you want the amp then along the carpet thro the firewall to the battery. It will be much easier getting the wire out from under the carpet then trying to get the wire under the carpet to that tiny slit cut in the carpet.
I know this isnt correct but it seems that the easiest way to get to any of the door speakers is the kick panels in the front.
Now to try and keep them seperate from the power cables
