Default Stock navigation system.

I was wondering, I saw in the menu that I could put in an address and get directions to it kind of like a trip/destination.
Well I put in an address and was waiting for something but nothing happens. It also doesnt do voice directions. So, my question is. are there even directions. does the system even tell you when/where to turn ect.?
or is it just a GPS map

Which nav unit do you have, RB1 or RB4? I have the RB1 and it does all that you are asking - map, turn by turn listing and voice prompting for turns.

I got my manual on ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/A-and-T-Auto At that time (a couple months ago) they had 4. Can't find any in their store now. MrCd1 - http://stores.ebay.com/mr-cd1 has 9 available now for a good price $6.99 and is a good ebay seller.

You should get voice commands for each turn. If listening to the radio while a nav destination is in effect, it will mute the radio and play the instruction through the driver door speaker. The nav instructions has a separate volume control setting. You turn up the volume **** while the nav is speaking to set it's volume level.

The www.wjjeeps.com/nav.html url posted by habeba86 is also where I got a bunch of good info before buying and installing my RB1.
