Default Satellite Radio

My dad gave me an early christmas gift... Satellite Radio.

Now, it's really cool, but my problem is I can't figure out where to mount it. the dash is basically off limits, considering there's really no good spot for it. I tried near the shifter, but it really takes away a lot of space..

Any ideas where it could go? It's about five inches by three inches, and probably an inch and a half deep.

I'm thinking I coudl put it in front of the digital compass thing I have, but it'd be weird having that blocked off.

I dont' have pictures of my interior yet, but if you go to Dodge's site and look at the interior of the new R/T, it's basically the same thing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

How about mounting it under the steering wheel and to the right a little. On the under part of the dash.

so is it XM or SIRIUS? I have XM in my 03' Ram I love it. My Deck is a Pioneer 940mp which is xm ready. Take it you still have factory radio, thats cool though. What if you just get a cheap radio that is satellite ready and go that way so don't have to worry about mounting something that might end up in the way someday. Just a thought. Well have a good Christmas, and hope more cool presents come along.

It's SIRIUS. Yeah, it is the factory radio, which I saw afterwards they
do have SIRIUS built in on decks, but since this was a gift, I can't
really just go return it and buy the deck. I'll have to wait awhile to
do that.

Thanks! You have a good Christmas as well.

My wife got me the Sirius Sportster (I'm a football fanatic! & she knows it!) I found a mount made by Arkon. It plugs in to the lighter right at the drivers right knee and comes up about 8". Nice if you have an external Sirius or XM unit.
