Default 02 Ram Quad Infinity Q

I just got done installing a new system in my Dodge Ram 02 quad with the Infinity system. I replace HU and back door and dash speakers with Infinity Kappas and left stock 6x9's in front doors. I put in 10 inch Kappa sub and box and Infinity amp. All is well but ran into one problem. When I was listening to stereo before speaker replacement I thought right dash speaker was blown and thought replacing it would fix the problem. Well upon replacing it the Kappa 3 1/2 still sounds like it is blown. Driver side sounds awesome. I switched polarity on speaker to see if they might have wired it wrong and it didn't change anything. I have a small tweeter in the center of the dash and I am going to check and see if I disconnect that speaker and plug it in there to see if it works. What I am wondering is. Could this be an amp problem seeing every other speaker is working or could it be a problem with the wire itself. Also is the infinity amp easy to get to an if it needs replacing what could I use to power all the speakers. Has anyone else ran into this problem. Any help would be appreciated on any of these questions.

I might be misunderstanding you... You HAVE a stock Infinity system? If you added/changed this, I hope you bypassed the stock amp. You will get horrible sound if you didn't. This is assuming that you have the Infinity Gold system. Also, for that bad speaker, you may want to check the wiring to the speaker, it could be grounding out. Look for bare wire, if you see some tape it up with electrical tape, or just run new thicker wire!

I have the stock Infinity system and I have changed the whole system except the stock Infinity amp and my stock 6x9's in the doors. I added an amp and sub also. It sounds awesome without even bypassing the stock amp. The problem is just before I changed the last speaker on the right hand side of the dash it sounded like the stock tweeter was blown so I figured replacing it would correct it and the new speaker sounds the same. I have been told to put it back together with stock stuff and bring it back to dealer for warranty work that it could be a bad channel in the amp. I am not going to go through the hassle of ripping it all apart again just to put it back again. What I am asking is can I bypass amp or get to it and dissconect it and run new wires and hook up a new one. Also is it accessible and what kind of amp could I get to replace the stock one to power the speakers seeing there is 7 of them. How many channels would the amp have to have and what would be a good one. I am looking to get around the dealer and having to put it back together two or three times..

Well you are going to want to bypass the stock amp. This can be replaced with a 4 or 6 channel amp. Your 7th speaker has got to go. you can leave it where it is, just don't hook it up. The reason behind me saying this is simple. This 7th speaker is acting like a center channel. You aren't doing multi-channel music, so forget about it. When you replace the amp, you will want to replace the speaker wire/power wire/ground wire/and run RCAs to the new amp. Run the speaker wire from the amp directly to each speaker. This should cure the problem you're having with that one speaker. Any other concerns, let me know!!
