Hello, First time writer, long time reader.

I was hoping someone could shed some light for me. Factory Installed radio, 6 disc cd changer, has Sirius Radio. Sirius tells me I must hear channel 184 to be able to get programming. They tell me that I need to have a "hard reset" done by a dealer. Took it to the Dodge dealer where I bought it and they don't know what they are talking about. I ahve tried disconnceting the battery, and fuse but no luck. The truck is used and was previously a rental in which the Satellite radio was turned on. I was also told by sirius that it was dealer locked. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated. The dealer just about hass me at my wits end. Thanks in advance.

I really have no knowledge of this subject......[:'(]...so all I can really say is to try and take it to another dealer that knows how to do this.....sry I couldnt help more.

 

When you tune into channel 184 what is displayed on screen? Was the Sirius activated by dealer when you bought the vehicle or did you?
