Default headrest monitor power issues

i have a set of pyle headrest monitors that i hooked up to my jensen indash dvd/monitor. i have hardwired the headrest monitors to the aux power port inside the console (i never use that port) for the power and ground but still cant get them to power up. am i doing something wrong here? is this a power source with too little power for my needs? i checked all the fuses and i am getting power from the wiring but just not turning on. please help i am wearing myself thin on this issue and i have had my console out of my truck at least a dozen times in the past few days trying to get this figured out!
