Default adding a sub/amp to stock radio HELP

Hey guys.. I recently bought an adapter so that I can continue to use my stock radio unit in mY 06' Dodge RAm 1500 QC. Using this adapter http://www.installer.com/item/display_item.php?it=slocii I will be hooking up an amp for a 10" sub under the back seat... Now the question Ive hooked up amps and subs before, however on the amp dont you need a (remote on or automatic turn on for the amp so that it dosent stay on... Now with the aftermarket decks theres already a specific wire for this...how will i do this with a factory deck.. If anyone knows please help... ThANKS JOnathan

You can either splice into the ignition wire behind the radio....or go the "easy" route and jst run a wire into the fuse box..to the windshield wiper fuse....you can basically use and switching 12 volt.

For safety purposes I do reccomend throwing small fuse inline between the remote turn on of the amp and whateveryou splice into.

I'm not sure which amp you have, but read the manual. One of my amps turns on when it get a signal through the speaker cables.
Or mount one of these under the edge of the dash, seat, etc. I have one in a hidden location for my alarm valet switch and you would have a hard time finding it but can reach sitting in the seat.

Ya I think its the mtx amps that have come on when a signal is sent into the high level inputs.
