Default Sound deadening question about techniques and materials

I am looking at sound deadening my doors, are there any tricks or tips to aid in this process? Any specific choice of brands that are/are not easy to work with? I have an 04 QC and will be doing all 4 doors. I'm not exactely too handy but i should be able to peel and stick something with minimal retardiness.

thanks

Second Skin and RAAMmat are good. Actually a member on here has a roll for sale in the for sale section. Cover big holes in the doors with something solid then deaden over that. Make sure you really press and smooth the deadener to the door good.

Yeah use a hard plastic roller to flatten it out, for doors and areas with alot of curves my favorite tool is a rubber mallet. It makes more noise, but it really stretches and sticks it down really goodin akward areas. Make sure the material is plentywarm. It will be a lot more flexible and will stick better too. I use a small heater and hold it in front for a minute before I stick it on.
