AUTOPAGE RS-1000??
Hey guys im gonna take of my python 1600xp and get the autopage rs-1000 or autopage-900, what is a good website to get these alarms at? i found one that has the rs-100 for $299 heres the link ( but i have never got anything from this website) >>>>http://infiniteelectronix.com/autopa..._2_way_lcd.asp and i got a friend that works at best buy and he chargesme $100 to instal it, so about $400 for a 2 way alarm that has a one mile range
what do you guys think about the alarm and the website?

There arent alot of places on-line that sell them as far as I can see. I have never installed one...or even seen one in a car, but from what I gather they are jst fine......alarms and remote starts are mostly all about the install.

I would think twice about buying an alarm that states is has a mile range. I just boughtan Autopage rs-860which claims to have a range of a quarter mile. I was testing it out and it has about a 35 foot range.Tthat was in a parking lot at a local gym. The icon for being in range was on untill it tried tocheck the temperature in my car and then the icon disappeared. What do you know 98% of the time I am out of range.The reason for me getting a two waywas for me to monitor my car security and to ensure my car started without me being close by.It's pretty useless to have a two wayalarm if itdoes not receive a siganl.

My Viper two-way works fine when i'm at home but its useless at work. I have to go outside my building for it to start or lock/unlock whatever. Kinda depends on the building on how well it works.
My second Omega remote start had a much better range, the best of the 4 i have ran. Second would be the Omega remote+alarm, then my valet i got in ~98, and last is the Viper i have now. Not to say its not any good, just could be better.
