Made this diagram up for a guy over on another forum, but I though somone else may be interested in it as well. It allows the headlights to turn on with unlock on the factory keyless. And shut off again once the door is shut and/or the truck is started. Just like a lot of newer GM's do.The way it's made will make it so the headlights don't come on everytime you turn your dome light on as just hooking a relay tot he domelight wire would do. The colors and locations are for a 2000 Dakota, but could easily be changed to any vehicle if you knew the colors and locations of the wires. Also, if your dome-light wire is a (+) trigger instead on (-), a relay can simply be put in place to change the polarity. Well, here it is.
