Well when your already spending 30k on a truck what's an extra 1100 dollars hurt if you get more HP and better MPG.

 

Actualy it's 35hp more, and 49lb.-ft of torquemore, and with a $30k+ truck another $1000-1600 is definitly worth it for thatimo.

 

In a ram you may have a point. But in a GC or commander it gets quite a bit more expensive due to the fact that you can only get the hemi in the highest packages. The current gas mileage is the same between the two, for the 08 the 4.7 is suppose to get a little better mpg. I'll save my money, get an american made engine. And maybe get a few more goodies instead.

 

haha i like how you put that. my dad wont get a hemi becuase it is made in mexico. for the longest time his favorite engines were the ones in kenosha. now we have three 3.7 and a 3.8. im excited about the 4.7L though. we have never had a v8 that wasnt a temp while they fixed one of our other cars.
