New spy shots of JC49 crossover
I like the Avenger. I looked at them very closely but still chose the Charger R/T. I wanted a large performace Sedan....and I like MOPAR
The Wife drives an 2005 Chrysler Pacifica....great car. Recently sold an 1994 Grand Caravan.....well the engine was strong
We still own and use a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim and 1991 Dodge Dakota. I guess we are a MOPAR family

Sedans sell better than wagons and coupes. The average consumer isn't looking for a sport coupe.
The best thing about the Avenger is that it isn't one of those "lame ***" sedans..
I do think we need an Avenger coupe, but I'm not gonna hate on this great sedan.

I agree, sedans may sell better, but only to the 'average joe' type consumer, not to the enthusiast. People who buy sedans usually shop as if theyre buying an appliance. Its a need, so theyre after something they can afford, will work as promised and is acceptable in appearance. They're not making a personal statement, and thats why most of them are white, grey or beige. I mean, if thats who you are, and thats all your hard earned money means to you then more power to you. But I call lame on that because it takes no imagination or snese of style to drive the same car as about 70 percent of the rest of the population. I guess Im a little peeved because this bodystyle seems fairly well thought out and looks like they actually put some effort into it, but since its not available as a coupe, its a total waste. JMO.
I'm going to have agree with grungerockjeeper on that. I personally don't dig fwd/awd wannabe performance cars, but if thats your style thenlive it up. That's why America is a free country.
I dont mind fwd/awd in tuner-type cars. I was skeptical at first, but its been proven that they can be made fast. Its just not in the same class as a rwd muscle car. I just hate sedans. Booor-riiing.

Hopefully high(er) gas prices and mileage requirements won't kill the Challenger like they did it's daddy....
