Thanks Chrysler...I appreciate it after buying a 2007 Ram in March.
Another "too bad" for trying to buy American.

If you were happy with your Ram before you read this, then there's no reason to down on Chrysler now. You knew what you were buying and you went out and made the purchase and if you're happy with your truck this announcement shouldn't affect that in the least.

You're suddenly unhappy with your purchase?

I love my truck. I think folks who recently bought a Chrysler product have a right to be a little miffed at this. Think about it.
So no, I am not suddenly unhappy with my truck. I am unhappy that I don't get the same warranty as someone else who buys the same model year truck.

Why can't you make a statement of displeasure on a fanboy forum?

They simply added another incentive to buy their vehicles.
It would be no differant than a dealer offering an extra $5,000 off the truck on a promotion they have four months later. You didn't necesairily get ripped off, they just come out with new offers, the nature of the sales game.
Similarly, go complain to your computer maker because the same computer you have is now selling for 50% the price (just an example).
Oh, and not everyone else is getting it. Only people who buy after 7/27/07 (so that doesn't cover most of the 2006/2007 model year vehicles that have been made, since they've mostly all been sold already)

Computer and cars are diffrent..a couple hundred vs 20,000.
I am very happy with my purchase but I wouldve been alot happier with a lifetime warrenty for my running gear.
Either way, I think that will be a very good selling point. Good thinking by Dodge!
