I never really paid attention to it before, but I noticed that the interior shot is CG and not a picture of the actual interior. I wonder why they did that when the thing has already been built. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

 

The ME-412 is not a concept car! I have the press kit coming this week sometime and will post more information. What it is, is a prototype which will start testing next month. It will be testing sometime in May at the Chelsea Proving Grounds. </P>


The car was built by Metalcrafters in Wixom, Michigan. Matter of fact, they just finished it on December 29th. The car was rushed to NAIAS, in time for debut.</P>


Wolfgang Bernhard has said that this car is to take on the world's supercars... and give Enzo Ferrari and run for his money.</P>


Hearing that if the car is made for production, expect 300 units a year (maybe less), for an estimated price of $450,000. If this car is produced and can run a 248mph top speed, it will be the fastest production car in the world, and will be half as much as the F1 supercar.</P>

YAY!! Outstanding!! I suppose that too expensive to make it into a race car, but OMG... still... what a FABULOUS car to have around! Chrysler did a very smart thing producing the ME Four Twelve... I can't wait to see the first one on the road...

Is the engine on the ME 4 12 going to be a HEMI? If not, what does "ME" mean?

 

The ME means Mid Engine, Four Twelve is Four Turbochargers's and 12 Cylinders.
