I dont like the headlights, and how they integrate into the fender flares....

 

Sorry, but this truck is by far the worst looking dodge ever, Its f#$kin ugly. If they do come in production like that my 08 will be my last new ram, then I'll have to keep the body alive through ziebart and have some engine swaps as they come available. Thumbs down to chrysler!!!!!

Fire the architects. They suck ***, too much weed, it looks like a wimp compared to 2nd and 3rd gen models.

 

The good thing is Chrysler is not owned by the Germans and Damiler anymore and there is promise in the future for better designs!

 

i am not a truck guy, but i think the outside is pretty decent. i do see a kind of ford look to the lights, but overall its good. i am more intrested in the interior. i have yet to see a truck by any company that didnt have a ****ty interior.

 

You can see some styling queue's from the Dakota, which scares the heck outta me (no offense 3rd gen Dak guys - as they say to each their own). This will be one I'll have to see in person before really deciding...from thephoto or imageI'm not sold yet..

Not that looking like a Ford is all bad from a business prospective. The F150 is the best selling truck in the US.

Personally, I don't really care for the look. Then again, it may grow on me.

Chrysler's not in the best financial situation, so they're looking to be vanilla and play it safe. They don't have the financial reserves to take a huge risk on redesign and risk it being a total flop. So, they're gunning for a mainstream look.

 

Ya it definately looks like they took a few styling ideas from Ford. That two tone paint scheme definately looks like a Ford thing... so do the flares.
For the most part I like it! I like the new bed!!! The current bed is very boring and plain, IMHO. The squared off accent lines on the front fenders and the bed looks awesome I think. I like the squared off cab. The fog lamps are decent. The nose.... Its definately a change.... with the swept in grill you have to have headlights that follow the same angles... but it is different. It's hard to tell from one angle though. I think I'd like a flat nose in the front a little better though.
The chopped pic with the black sportand the hood scoop looks good though! I definately want to see some more photos with other angles!!!
I've been wating to see what the new Ram looks like before I order my new truck... I think I'm going to hold out a bit longer and get the '09 if it looks close to this.

they kinda look like a F#@*ed Over Rebiult Dodge. pardon my french they look ugly i liked the 1995 to 2001 bodys alot better
