Remember when pickups used to have pickup beds? Now they have 'toolboxes' in the bed sides and vestigal room. If it's small enough to fit in the bed sides, you could just throw it in a car trunk. The idea of beds USED TO BE to carry big bulky, dirty stuff.Now it'sjust the period on theend of your luxo-barge cab.

I like the current one much better. I like it better than the '94 era actually.

I like it alot the more I see it. What I dont like is 4 door trucks, period. I wish theyd go back to the swing out rear doors. I think anything less than an 8 ft bed when you have 4 doors looks kind of silly, but with the old club cab doors 6.5 looksok.

This may be thefirst Dodge interior Ive ever been impressed with. Theyve always been in thedark ages when it comes to interiors. Definitely lots of design cues from other manufacturers (my dearly departed Titan comes to mind), but better to join the crowd than make outdated looking crap. At 500k plus sales for the (UGLY/BLAND) Silverado and F-150, and only 300k for the Ram, they had to try something. The Tundra cracked 200k in its first (redesigned) year didnt it?

I see myself working crazy overtime to pay off my FJ Cruiser and Mustang in 2 years (dont wanna buy a 1st year model) and getting one of these things.

 

if you were to take the crosshair part of the grille off, it would look very close to a tundra.

 

i really like that truck!
the ram box takes up only the room that i don't want in the bed anyway,
dodge has always had bold styling, to the point of looking mean,
i do see a few minor tweaks worth doing, but i'd love to own one of those trucks.

Someone please go take the ugly stick away from their designers. I think they're butt-ugly inside and out. I especially hate 3-spoke steering wheels.

 

I think I'm the only one who actually likes this truck, lol. I'd like to see what the Hummer pick ups look like that are coming out soon, but for now I'm sticking to my Dak.
