Yeah but Nissan nor Renault are luxo brands like Benz is. And why are people still hating the french for not joining us in a war none of us want to be in?

What suprises me is the Titan not doing well, I test drove one and loved it, much better then the Rams I looked at.

That may be true, but Dodge will offer you a better rebate on the Ram where as Nissan won't. You'll spend at least 32k for a niceTitan and probably like 25 fora nicely equiped Ram.Not to forget the recent lifetime warranty too...

I am in South Jersey, and I see alot of Titans around here, thought they were doing well but the article mentioned above said they may be axing them in the next few years because they can't sell them pofitably.

Last year me, my dad, and my uncle were all having problems with our 2nd gen rams. I had a 2000, and theirs were 01's. My uncles has high miles, mine had 73, and my dads had less than 40. He put over$3k into that truck in less than a year. (naturally, when he bought his it was only a 30k warranty) I got tired of all the b/s (intermittent electrical problems, stalling in reverse when its cold-my favorite-told by dealership mechanic "Thats normal"!) and bought an 06 Titan. Absolutely loved that truck. Nissan marketed that all wrong - every auto magazine on the planet was saying how its0-60 times were the best (even over a hemi), at its introduction it had best towing (I think). Never seen a cool Titan commercial. They shouldve been doing the types of advertising that Toyota is doing. They dropped the ball big time. I love the Tundra too - very Dodge looking, without all the Dodge "quality" issues.

Anyway, my dad got a Titan too and loves it. I traded my Titan in on an 08' Mustang, so Im back to a 2nd gen ram again. (97 2500)Dont get me wrong, Ive mostly owned Chrysler products all my life, and I even miss my 01 Sebring LXI from time to time (even though the automatic trans with 45k was constantly hunting, and the 6 disc cd player stopped working), butit'll be a long time before any brand new vehicle I buy has the Dodge or Chrysler logos on it. Great looking-definitely.
