Not Neon Spy Shots! But New Crossover!
You guys are arguing a moot point, we can be sued, I don't want to be sued, so... since we didn't shell out the money for the rights to the pics, we cannot have them hotlinked here. I'm sorry. It IS illegal, I have to do what the people who own the rights to the pics want.

Yes, they were hosted from carconnection.com and they were linked here so they showed in the post, meaning we were stealing their bandwidth (violation #1) and showing copyrighted pics (violation #2).
I'm not trying to be a bugger, I like pics just as much as anyone, and if I weren't moving, I'd have gladly given my arm and leg to get the rights to them as it would help our site tremendously.

Amanda, i understand your decision, and support it. my problem has nothing to do with you. it just really bothers me that someone would copyright a picture like that and restrict us from it.
Don't worry about it... anymore people are so worried you wont see the junk that is advertised on their site, they have to threaten action if you don't direct post... many other sites, like cheersandgears.com and etc; go through the same problems.

Yah, we aren't in trouble, I'm just saying, there's no point to complain. The owner wrote me, I have to do right by him.
Thanks Robert!

lol, yeah I know first hand, my buddy who is the editor of pickuptruck.com, another site I moderator for... him and I both got letters in our e-mail from General Motors, because of pictures a friend sent me of the next generation 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche, which weren't not in camo.
