Default Chrysler to Lower Prices

I just read the following today:

"Chrysler ad campaign to tout new features, lower prices AUBURN HILLS, Mich. โ€” Chrysler LLC said it plans a new ad campaign that includes lower prices on 12 of its vehicles. The campaign aims to cast the troubled automaker as a company that's listening to consumers and responding with new features. In addition to the ad campaign, Chrysler plans to start an online customer advisory board in the next few months. Advertising will start regionally with this Sunday's Super Bowl and will be clustered around other events in February, including the Super Tuesday primaries, the Daytona 500 and the Academy Awards. In addition, Chrysler lowered the prices of features such as entertainment systems and luxury packages on 12 vehicles starting Friday."

With rising oil prices and an increasing chance of recession, they may start getting more and more desperate.... good news for anyone considering a new '08....

All I Want Is The New 09'. Just Bought A New Truck Last Year... Sad To Say I Think The 09' Will Replace My 05'.

The Autoshow Is Next Weekend And There Is Only One Purpose For Me Going... To See The New 09'.

I HIGHLY Doubt Thats One of The Vehicles That The Price Is Going To Be Reduced.

Yeah... no... the '09 is not one of them I'm sure. Prices will start high and slowly decline as that model ages, as they have on the Ram and they do through any truck lifecycle. Since I dont' buy the first year of any model, the '09 is out. I have to wait for the '10. And since I always buy at year end closeouts, that means I have to wait until the end of '10.... which sucks, b/c I've never owned a vehicle for more than 2 years.

Now, if a Silverado with the ZR1's motor comes out..... I may have to spring on that. Never owned a GM product until we bought the fiance's H3... but for that I'd switch over.

Very Good Question... I Have An HVAC Company Through American Standard. They Offered A 5,800.00 Fleet Rebate On The 08' Ford 250 Powerstroke. Also I Do All The HVAC For The Local Ford Dealership Family..The WHole Family. Got It 300 Under Invoice - They Used Year End Advertisement Dollars Towards Moving It.. Plus The 5800

Resluting in A $62,000 Dollar Ford F250 Powerstroke Harley Davidson Edition... Being 40K Out The Door. Dodge Couldn't Touch That With A Basic Diesel.

no, trucks don't get this deal lol.....i think the vehicles included in this are: minivan, sebring/stratus, aspen, 300C, and theres one more but cant remember off the top of my head....I'll look through my e-mail from work and see if I can find the other one

....ok i looked through my e-mail the vehicles in this thing are: Aspen Limited, PT Cruiser LX Street Cruiser, 300 Signature Series, Sebring sedan/convt., T&C Touring Signature Series, Charger SE Plus, Grand Caravan SE, Caliber SE Plus, Avenger, GC and Commander....

and if people thought Chrysler isn't listening these days...look here:
"Weโ€™re moving fast to earn the trust of dealers and customers and prove that we are listening," said Deborah Meyer, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. "In the first 60 days after Chrysler became private, we approved 260 line item improvements to our products."

their gonna have a website up and running here pretty soon where customers can go and make remarks/comments about things they wish vehicles had or didn't have whether it be standard equipment or optional

Those appear to be latest sales figures vs last year sales figures with percentage plus or minus shown....
