Default Chrysler + Soccer Moms = Cool?

Edmunds.com released a list of the coolest vehicles of the year, for soccer moms, and Chrysler Group had three vehicle featured...

Dodge Magnum (Wagon)
This five-passenger wagon with a gigantic backseat made both our 2005 Editors' Most Wanted list and the Hippest Vehicles for 2005 list. Our road test editors say, "The Magnum is able to deliver ride and handling qualities that rival many sedans" and, "It turns heads like a Ferrari on fire." And for days when cargo gets wet or muddy, its cargo floor reverses from carpet to a washable surface. Seats five.

Chrysler Pacifica (Wagon)
The Pacifica's nontraditional styling is a hit with moms over 30. Though it doesn't have much cargo space behind the already tight third-row seat, the rear seats can be folded flat into the floor when you need more space. Upscale amenities, stable handling and super-comfortable seats enhance the package. The Pacifica earned a perfect five-star score in NHTSA's front- and side-impact crash tests (when equipped with side curtain airbags) and a "Best Pick" rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in its frontal offset crash test. Seats five or six.

Dodge Durango (SUV)
Better, stronger, faster. Like the old Bionic Man TV show, the Dodge Durango improved so much during its 2004 redesign that it became almost a different being. Whether you choose the much touted V8 Hemi engine or not, this midsize SUV with full-size capability looks tough, but has a lot of comfort and utility. Interior room approaches, or even exceeds, that of the Ford Expedition and Toyota Sequoia (although, second-row legroom can be tight for teenage carpoolers). The one downside? Although enjoyable to drive, it's quite thirsty at the pump. Seats seven.
