You can see the grille is chrome in the second picture. Also the rockers aren't painted... this is just some guy being a goof in his SLT.
That purple skunkworks Nitro from SEMA was pretty cool though, but I never saw how they got the HEMI to fit. I think too much modification was necessary so a SRT8 is unlikely, but I bet it would be pretty fast!

any engine will fit in any show car...but when the vehicle has to actually move, they have to redesign the suspension and such to handle that huge amount of added weight...it probably has whatever suspension would fit, and it handles like crap.
