Chrysler wont have to open their checkbooks... they will just screw with the various non-compliance dealers allotments and change the way they reimburse the advertising campaigns to only focus on the dealerships thatare DCJ. It isnt the first time this type of game has been played before.I think this is also the way that Plymouth got played out of the scene. Chysler did a similar thing back in the day and wanted Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge(usually Trucks) under the same roof. But this seemed silly at the time since both Plymouth and Chrysler had several shared platforms and Plymouth and Dodge shared the van lines. So why would Chry Corp want all of them directly in competition? Because their plan was the get rid of Plymouth all along. And so the story goes...
