One of the victims and the shooter are deceased. The other two employees are currently hospitalized.

STATEMENTS
Dr. Dieter Zetsche, President and Chief Executive Officer - Chrysler Group:

"Yesterday evening our Toledo North Assembly Plant became the site of terrible tragedy when one of our employees shot and killed a fellow employee, wounded two others, and then took his own life. All information indicates this was an isolated incident.

"The company has cancelled all production shifts at the three Toledo assembly facilities today. Grief counselors have already begun working with employees and will continue to be available as long as necessary.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims. We mourn this unnecessary loss of life and hope for the speedy and full recovery of those injured. It is a sad day for the Chrysler Group family and the Toledo community. "

Frank Ewasyshyn, Executive Vice President - Manufacturing, DaimlerChrysler Corp.

"At the Chrysler Group, our employees are our most important resource and their security is a continuing priority. What happened last night in Toledo is a tragedy and our hearts go out to the families of those involved. We share in their losses and their grief.

"There will be no production on Thursday, Jan. 27 for all Toledo Jeep assembly facilities; those include the Toledo North, Parkway and Stickney locations.

"We are offering counseling on site for as long as necessary. We are encouraging employees of our Toledo North and Toledo South assembly locations to come into the plants to meet with grief counselors."

Finally couldn't take his job anymore I'm guessing. Sad to hear he had to kill two people including himself though
