I'll admit, I'm a fan of VW, and had a couple souped up Jetta's that were some of the most fun vehicles I've ever had.

That being said, "German Engineering" can't be confused with "quality" with VW. Both cars had non stop problems, and they don't hold up very well via consumer reports or other similar agencies. I'd bet a rebadged Caravan has better long term quality then a legit "german engineered" auto.

 

just got one of these at the dealership i work at. and all you have to do to know its a Chrsyler, is to open the hood (or if look at the radio) and where it saids emissions and such, it also saids in big letters "*insert pentastar* CHRYSLER LLC"

 

I make the dash boards for the VW routan. they are ugly as hell and made with cheap parts. we've had soo many problems with them...
