ORIGINAL: Silver Eagle

Someone thought that it will replace the PT cruiser. It think not. Chrysler Screwed up when they came out with the PT Cruiser in the Chrysler name. They got a lot of Dodge dealers made at them. They also wanted something new on the line. Now it looks like they have found it. Something different and good looking. Now have they learned about pricing .It took them 5 years to lower the price on the PT . Will Dodge be any smarter.? Time will Tell. When the PT first came out Chrysler wanted to charge $30,000 for the PT Lucky for Chrysler that they dorpped it down to the low twenty's. I also think that the Neon will be around for a few more years ,or until these one get's it's tire's wet first.

actually chrysler only wanted to charge about 20 grand for the pt when it first came out, but the demand was so high the dealers were taking whoever would offer the most, so they were selling for much more than they were supposed to

I have it in black and white that Chrysler wanted to sell the PT for around $30,000 but as production started Chrysler exc. Decided that it would be smarter to ask for the lower price .Look what happened to the Prowler and the Ford Excurson. Greed doesn't make it today.
