Did you guys see the new Charger yet? New pics at alpr all (idk if uve seen them tho)
The pictures of the car in the leftlane story was released by Chrysler in October of last year. It is wearing the manufacturers tag. In the top picture, I'd be more inclined to think it is the Mitsujunki version. They are both built on the same shared platform and it is not uncommon for Chrysler to put Mitsu disguises on their testing prototypes and vice-versa. The level of finish and detail work on the Chrysler pictures is rarely seen on purely prototype cars and the front end in the picture from allpar is clearly taped together-like a disguised prototype. If they produce the car in their publicity photos it will be a hit. If they end up switching to the Mitsujunki wannabe, it'll be the end of the Charger. Ricers will never switch to Chrysler and folks that like American style cars will never buy that Japanese knock-off design. It is the worst of both worlds.
Edit, I didn't notice that you're in canada, I've heard that the mounties are pretty uptight.
i wouldnt put much stock into what allpar posts as far as future models...before the challenger came out, at another one of my forums we had an allpar guy arguing that the V6 challenger would only cost 19,000...and he argued that he knew that it was true because allpar posted it.
those pictures of the front end were from a handful of auto new sites and allpar just threw their tag on them...i still dont understand why they watermark pictures that they have NOTHING to do with...i also thought that the pronounced front end looked similar to the nose design of the Evo X.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here, but Car and Driver has some great photos of a disguised Charger. But it looks like LeftLane may have been given actual production pictures. I am going to link another forums zoomed pictures of the Car and Driver photos so you can see that the car in the leftlane/Chrysler photos are exactly like the disguised Chargers, not the Mitsujunki decoys.

Notice the double square tail lights and how the front end doesn't look like a narrow, slanty Mitsu knock-off. When you size up the details of the leftlane pictures with the mules, it's clear they are the same.
