Dang, 40 Vipers. How awesome would that be to open the garage and have your pick?

Heres to hoping the Viper doesnt die off...just takes a bit of a vacation and comes back better than ever.

On again, off again, been on that roller coaster for a while. To be expected though given the companies issues over the past few years. If they bring it back they better make a spash. GM has done some impressive stuff as of late. The dealer by my house has a Camaro SS XL550. Did not even knew there was such an animal. Under the 550 it says.... Superchraged. So I have to believe it is the same setup at the ZR1, but in a Camaro and de-tuned to allow the ZR1 to keep the torch. Funnty part is if I google XL550 SS I get nothing. I may have to go back and check out that badge again. From the outside the only thing I noticed different were the wheels and grill, the grill did not have a bow-tie but a more retro grill with SS in the middle.

 

Lance, are you sure that it wasnt SC552? Ive never seen an XL550, but Callaway makes the SC552 and SC572...they dont use the LS9, they use a built LS3/L99.

Ive also seen a couple modern day, wannabe copo cars that are beefed up by dealerships...
