Apparently... what I've heard. The new Viper looks similar to the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione with a Dodge/Viper type front end.

from the side profile the rear looks like a vett but with the right front end and a little work out back (taillights) it should look awesome.

 

I have a feeling it's going to be really great, considering the secrecy and amount of time they are taking to complete it. This is hard for me to fathom though as I can't imagine any Viper cooler than the current gen Vipers. Maybe one with a little nicer interior and different powertrain options, but a total redesign? I'm anxious to see how it turns out.

 

Is this a joint effort or do dodge engineers undergo its redesign and engineering, much like chrysler did with the me412?

 

It should be noted that the Viper pics in the article are of the comp coupe, not the new Viper.
