SRT-8 300C? What do you all know about the possible reality of this car. I am seeing on other boards that Chrysler may put out an SRT-8, sport suspension, stronger real axel and different gears as soon as 2005?

With the planned upcoming Charger and an AWD 300C still awaiting release do you feel that 2005 is realistic?

Last question...has anyone puchased the extra protection package for their car/truck and is it worth it in your opinion 7/70000?

 

I take it that your refering to the 7/70,000 that covers everything and not just the powertrain. I have purchased it for my SRT-4, because it has a lot of power toys and there is soooo much more that can go wrong with a car besides the powertrain.[sm=smiley2.gif]I definately think that it is worth it.

 

Thank you for the feedback. I plan to keep this 300C for life (unless I trade up for a supercharged edition) so the 7 years will most likely cover me.

 

There will be a SRT-8 model for both 300C and Magnum models... sometime within the next two years. They will recieve a supercharged version of the 5.7L HEMI V-8 not the 6.1L HEMI V-8 like the upcoming Charger SRT-8.

IN your opinion this SRT model will take at least a year to be introduced? I have read on other boards that they plan to introduce one this fall? seems a bit quick to me.

I personally think it is too soon to see a SRT-8 Magnum or 300C. We might see a conect induction for a next year model, but thats it... I would think they would wait to maybe awhile after the Charger debuts.
