I am going to call this one as I see it, they are trying to discontinue Dodge. Tell me I'm wrong! They have already separated the truck division Dodge's best seller, they are forfeiting their 2nd best seller to Chrysler to sell something unknown in popularity, there are talks of not replacing the Avenger, they won't call the Viper a Dodge but an SRT hinting that Dodge will probably not be associated with the performance division, shall I continue? If there was a division that deserved the axe of the sad remains of Chrysler it is Chrysler themselves. They are not taken seriously as a luxury brand anymore because they have deluded it with Plymouth entry level offerings. A luxury brand that isn't luxurious anymore is dull, ask Mercury how well it went and while your at it ask Lincoln, ask Oldsmobile. Dodge deserves to be Dodge and Dodge is unique to the company than Chrysler is at this point. Dodge has an distinct American flavor and thanks to GM's incompetence is the only division left that is like this. It is the last medium American nameplate other than Buick which isn't nearly as interesting.
