Default Enhanced 6.1L Hemi in the Chrysler Firepower?

I dunno if anyone else has noticed this, but if you look at any photo of the Chrysler Firepower's gauge cluster, you will notice that the tach reads a redline of 7000 rpm. As far as I know, the 6.1L's normally have a redline of 6400 rpm. Could this possibly mean that the Firepower gets a 'special' version of the Hemi?

I don't mean to get anyone excited, but just imagine the kind of Corvette-killing potential this car would have if it featured a slightly more powerful version of the 6.1L...thrown in some high-tech features like a TCS or variable ride, and we'd have it made!

Nice observation, didn't catch it. That would be interesting to see, and I wonder if in the future this possible special Hemi 6.1L will be used in other SRT-8 models...

That would be cool. It's probable that it's an upgraded 6.1L.
