ORIGINAL: ViperGTS

I had to remove the pictures Chase. The pictures are owned by Chris Doane and Brenda Priddy and they have specifically asked not to have the SRT-4 Caliber pics here.

I'm not sure if these pictures are own by anyone. I found them on google and off of tons of different sites. If you need to, you can remove them. I covered up the license plate number on two of the pictures that showed it.

Pat - Rumor is that it's lighter, and what's you with your guess on weight. It's shorter but a couple inches taller. I doubt that it would weigh much more if it did weigh more. Hatchback, not station wagon.

Nick - It's going to have 4 different engine choices, not just one. 1.8L World Engine, 2.0L, 2.4L and 2.4L turbo (rumored by Allpar)

Ron - Those are old concept pics, we all have seen those.

when i saw it in person, the sign behind it said that it had the SRT4 drivetrain. its all fine and dandy for you to like the charger, but i am sick and tired of DCX's refusal to put togethe something sporty...you have to admit, that the new dodge vibe is fAR from sporty...

its not a station wagon, its a sad excuse for a crossover vehicle...nd dont start on me about the 4 door nonsense...i would consider an SRT4 when my RT is paid off, but they put together an ugly *** non-sporty crossover...its about as sporty as my moms 240GL wagon. i think that the magnum is awesome, but i want something that is either a RWD V8 coupe (which wont happen anytime soon) or something that is small and sporty, like the SRT4 neon, with lots of *****...that being said, i also dont want to spend 35k on a fast car...when i can get a leftover LS2 GTO for 25.

but its pretty obvious that dcx doesnt give a f*** what people who demand performance want...DCX wants to make dodge and chrysler a "luxury line" hence their collection of 35k+ high hp sedans...

I LOVE my drivetrain loss.

I don't care for the looks of it personally. I will wait until a real world viewing before I pass final judgement though. I'm not fond of the "corporate" face manufactures are currently adopting. I think it takes away from the soul of the car....

Those are the regular concept pictures..

Caliber AWD>Neon FWD
Car makers need to stop making everything Awd, it's stupid...especially for Dcx. Dc is supposed to make performance cars, not something that is better right off the line and guzzles more gas. They're not supposed to make it a luxury car either, that's where Mercedes comes in. I don't know what they think they're going to get from the Caliber Srt, the Neon Srt could have done excellent if Dodge would have attempted any type of marketing for it. It's pretty sad hardly anyone knew what it was..
